Khumais Idrees
I’m Khumais a visual storyteller, educator, and creative born and raised in a small village in Punjab, Pakistan. Growing up in a place where creativity wasn’t common, I never imagined I’d one day turn my passion into a global career.
Everything changed in 2018 when my parents gifted me my first smartphone. That simple moment sparked a journey that would completely redefine my life. I became captivated by photography not through formal training, but through instinct, curiosity, and endless experimentation.
In 2020, I launched my first digital product: a Lightroom preset pack. I didn’t expect it to succeed, but it did and that early win allowed me to invest in my first professional camera. From there, the passion turned into purpose.
What started as a quiet obsession became a powerful form of expression. Photography gave me confidence, freedom, and a voice I never knew I had. Over the years, that voice has reached places I never dreamed of.
I’m Khumais, a photographer and visual storyteller from Pakistan.
I’ve worked with global brands like Xiaomi, Filmora, and Peak Design, and my work has been recognised by National Geographic and featured on Adobe Lightroom, bored panda and many other platforms.
Now, I want to help others especially creatives from Pakistan and the subcontinent realise what’s possible. My mission is to build a community that goes beyond photography, focused on purpose, confidence, and creative freedom.

But for me, the greatest achievement is proving that someone from a small village with no connections or formal training can create something meaningful. And now, I'm dedicated to helping others do the same.
